Sketching ideas for 'Draw at Noon' - 1.5 hrs
This week, I did probably the least work that I've done, including last term. It was still productive, but I also feel personally really bad that I couldn't get more done. Most of the lack of time stems from an issue I ran into last term, and having to apply to jobs for co-op in B round.
Nevertheless, I still managed to put in some work. My main task for this week anyway was to create the first draft of the new playtest survey, including personalized questions from those on the coding team that tailored to specific games if needed. This took the majority of my time this week, between making new questions and creating working survey logic. No doubt it will needed to be edited in the weeks to come (to accommodate to the newer games), but every week the game-specific questions should rotate out.
As for what I decided to do during another class I had while i had time, I went in and created multiple sketches for what the guns in the 'Draw at Noon' game could be. I decided to just go with whatever was on my mind at the time, and see where I ended up. Altogether, I ended up with about 15 designs. From here, I will use one of these to go forward with a design and model a gun for the game.
Content Positive:
-I made the first draft of the new playtest survey (3 hrs)
-I made a plethora of gun designs for 'Draw at Noon' (1.5 hrs)
Content Negative:
-Although I completed my primary task, I didn't get to do as much as I wanted to this week.
Total Time Spent: 4.5 hours
