Jinghan Liu - PPJs - Week04

This week I finished the 2d goal for QWOP and worked on new alien animation for QWOP, both human and alien’s mini map icon for crazy ball.

For the animation, it is a caught up alien animation. I worked as same way as last week, draw a start and finish frame, then smooth it. I used the mid frame of the running alien animation as a start frame, and add some new frames to complete the new animation.

The icons of the alien is not hard, I draw a big front alien face and highlight its around. I spent more time on the ship icon. At first I tried to use human face, but when I draw a draft and look as the actual size I found that it is similar with alien icon (just the color is different). I redesigned it as a ship and added a compass arrow to shows which way the human are looking.

Meeting: 1.5 hr

Animation: 2 hr

Mini map icon: 2 hr

2D goal: 1 hr

Total: 6.5 hrs
